The Manager is committed to better manage and mitigate environmental, social and governance ("ESG") related risks, and is constantly working to strengthen its understanding of the subject through training, consultation and engagement.

The Manager will strive to decarbonise Centurion Accommodation REIT's portfolio of buildings, to ensure that Centurion Accommodation REIT keeps pace with the wider climate-reduction roadmaps of governments and the industry. The Manager will actively conduct studies to explore solutions for Centurion Accommodation REIT, and these findings will help the Manager ascertain the impacts and establish quantitative targets for the short, mid, and long-term.

The management team is committed to ESG through adherence to corporate governance, strengthening of social pillar, and decarbonisation efforts.

The Property Managers are proactively looking to reduce energy consumption by using renewable energy, where available, and refurbishing existing properties with energy-efficient fixtures. Other initiatives include the integration of innovative technologies and smart design to improve energy efficiency, water usage management, and waste management practices. As a reflection of the Property Managers' proactive approach to its environmental commitments, Westlite Ubi, and the new resident blocks in Westlite Toh Guan and Westlite Mandai from the Relevant Westlite Works have all received Singapore Green Building Council's "Green Mark Award Super Low Energy Certificates".

The Manager and Property Managers are deeply committed to the social pillar, with a strong focus on enhancing the well-being of the residents, evidenced through the active asset management strategy and commitment to providing specialised accommodation that is both physically and socially conducive, and fosters community, encourages meaningful connections, and promotes overall wellness, enhancing the living experience for our residents.
